EDN AWARD CEREMONY
On Friday, March 20, the European Documentary Network (EDN) gave its now established award to the distinguished producer, director and Artistic Director of the ZagrebDox international film festival, Nenad Pohovski. He was given this award for his contribution to the art of the documentary.
The Award was handed out by Line Sandsmark, Director of the European Documentary Network. She called Nenad Pohovski a teacher, and added: “When I first met τον Nenad Pohovski a few months ago, I was very impressed, because he got right to the point without wasting words. I believe he has contributed a great deal to the development of the documentary, both behind the camera, and as Director of ZagrebDox”.
Nenad Pohovski accepted the award and warmly thanked the European Documentary Network. “The help EDN gives to new and old film makers is particularly important. Without its contribution it would have been impossible to create ZagrebDox. We must not forget that it is not only the films that are important, but also the people behind them”, added Nenad Pohovski, who dedicated the award to his wife for her valuable support.
