Waiting for Rosa

Every day, Thomas would go to the train station of the village of Ivancsa, desperately waiting for Rosa to arrive. And so the days, months, and years went by. Meanwhile, the rest of the village were eagerly awaiting the day when a train would take them back to their homeland. Through these contradictory paths, the odyssey of the political refugees living in the Hungarian village of Belogiannis unfolds. From the end of the civil war in Greece in 1949 to the the Hungarian uprising of 1956, from the dictatorship of 1967 in Greece to the amnesty of 1981, from the political change in Hungary in 1989 to the desecration of the graves with the red star...
