THE BALKAN FUND ANNOUNCES THIS YEAR’S 10 NOMINATED PROJECTS
Thessaloniki’s AGORA / MARKET strand (December 4 –11, 2010) is a boutique industry event offering ideal networking opportunities for the global film industry in an informal, hospitable and very professional atmosphere.
AGORA / MARKET is an international meeting-and-trading umbrella organization, which runs parallel to the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (TIFF) and offers a variety of industry activities to its visiting industry professionals.
It includes:
• The Balkan Fund- TIFF’s Script Development Fund
• Works in Progress - screening of films in post-production from Southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean
• Crossroads – TIFF’s Co-Production Forum
• Four Corners - Salonica Studio’s Student Workshop
• Film Market with a Digital Video Library
For the 8th BALKAN FUND edition (December 4 – 6, 2010) a selection of 10 projects from 7 different countries will be competing for 3 (three) development grants:
