AGORA, the industry activity of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, is pleased to announce its awards.
The awards of the 11th Crossroads Co-production Forum under the artistic supervision of Marie-Pierre Macia are:
I. The jury of the 11th Crossroads Co-production Forum, consisted of Fenia Cossovitsa (producer, Blonde S.A., Greece), Titus Kreyenberg (producer, Unafilm, Germany), and Joseph Rouschop (producer, Tarantula, Belgium) grants the Two Thirty Five co-production award (full post production image and sound) to the project:
USUD, Directed by: Stefan Malisevic, Produced by: Vladimir Vasiljevic - EED Productions, & Stefan Malesevic – Slovo Film, Serbia / Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The producer of the winning project will also be granted a free accreditation for the PRODUCER’S NETWORK, Cannes Film Festival 2016 session.
II. The jury also grants the French CNC (CENTRE NATIONAL DU CINEMA ET DE L’ IMAGE ANIMEE) Development award of 10.000 euro to the project:
THE LAND OF NO ONE, Directed by: Christina Koutsospyrou & Aran Hughes, Produced by: Vassilis Chrysanthopoulos – plays2place productions, Greece.
IΙΙ. The jury also would like to give a special mention to the project:
The T Factor, Director: Francesco Costabile, Producer: Alessandra Grilli - Controra Film, Italy
IV. SCRIPT 2 FILM WORKSHOPS of the Mediterranean Film Institute (MFI) awards a scholarship to the film project TIDE, director/producer: Hussen Ibraheem, Lebanon
as well as a half scholarship to the project THE DISAPPEARED, director: Ramin Matin, production: Emine Yildirim – Giyotin Films, Asli Erdem – Beatrice Films, Turkey.
V. For the fourth year, the consulting company in audiovisual development Initiative Film represented by Isabelle Fauvel will offer its services to a Greek project. The selected project is:
ELEFSINA director: Alexandros Skouras, production: Yorgos Kyriakos -Viewmaster, Greece.

VI. For the sixth consecutive year the post-production house GRAAL awards one of the Agora Works in Progress films.
The AGORA WORKS IN PROGRESS jury, consisted of Christos Behtsis (distributor, Seven Group, Greece), Fabienne Hanclot, (managing director – ACID – Cannes Film Festival, France) Maren Kroymann, sales agent – m-appeal, Germany), grants the co-production award which consists of in kind services in post-production to the film:
CITY WITH NO COMPASS, Directed by Antonio Savinelli, Produced by Ismael Garcia Lopez – Savinelli Films, Spain
and an Honorary mention to:
THE LAST DAY, Directed by: Gabriel Achim, Produced by: Gabriel Achim / Dan Burlac – Green Films, Romania
