25th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival

2-12 March, 2023

At the 25th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, which took place under the gloomy shadow of the tragic Tempi accident, documentaries offered us shelter and tried to give us a note of hope. Viewers followed with great interest the urgent social issues that were pointed out in the documentaries and actively participated in discussions with the filmmakers. In all, 55,400 people watched documentaries, masterclasses, open discussions and Agora events. Compared to last year, there was an 11,2% increase in attendance, approaching pre-pandemic levels.
