The Thessaloniki Film Festival and the film production company Marni Films present a special bilingual edition, showcasing the unique work of TASS (George Tassioulas, 1970–2021), a multi-faceted creator who left an indelible mark as a storyboard artist in contemporary Greek cinema. The publication presents a selection his rich oeuvre as a visual artist, illustrator, and comic designer, and is complemented by texts of close friends and collaborators, scholars, and filmmakers; at the same time, it highlights the important role of the storyboard in the evolution of Greek cinema. The publication was edited by journalist Efi Papazachariou and Tassioulas’s close friend filmmaker Christos Houliaras.
