Present your podcast at the podcast section of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival

After the success of the new podcast section at the 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival -in total, 3,500 listeners from all over the world enjoyed the podcasts that participated in the section-, the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival (November 4 – 14) invites podcasters from Greece and abroad to submit their podcasts for the podcast section. The Festival was one of the first to incorporate podcasts, the digital files that have taken over the world, to its program.
The podcast section of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival is divided into two subsections: A competition section and an out of competition section. The selected podcasts will be presented during the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival, from November 4 - 14, 2021.
Greek-language and English-language podcasts can participate in the podcast section.
In the podcast competition section, an award (accompanied by a 2,000-euro cash prize) will be bestowed from a jury composed of renowned audiovisual professionals.
For the podcasts to be considered eligible to participate in the podcast section of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival, they should be presented at the Festival at a world premiere and until the end of the Festival (on November 15, 2021) they should not be uploaded on any platform, whether it is publicly accessible or requires a subscription. In case the podcast submitted is part of a podcast series, it should make its world premiere at the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
In the podcast section of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival are eligible to participate:
The podcasts must be 20-40 minutes in length.
