Joshua Oppenheimer, two-time nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film, will attend the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival to present his latest film The End, starring Tilda Swinton and Michael Shannon. The film will be screened at the closing ceremony of the 65th TIFF on Sunday November 10th, 2024, at Olympion.
We are delighted to unveil the 22 full-length films and the 24 short films screened at the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, within the framework of the Greek Film Festival. For yet another year, the Festival offers its longstanding support to Greek cinema and the Greek filmmakers through a series of targeted actions and initiatives.
Moreover, as in the previous years, one of this year’s Meet the Future participants will receive the Crew United Prize, a 5-year free Premium membership subscription on Crew United, the leading online networking platform connecting audiovisual professionals in Europe, also operating in Greece.
