On Saturday July 3rd, the premiere of the short films directed by the incredible duo of American directors and brothers, Lewie & Noah Kloster, was held on the M2 Building roof of the Megaro Mousikis of Thessaloniki, in a windy movie night under the stars and by the sea. Lewie & Noah Kloster, who are experimenting with animation documentary in a unique way, landed in Thessaloniki to meet the audience in a memorable night.

The 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival came to an end. This year’s successful edition was a hybrid event with online screenings in March (4-14/3), tributes and educational screenings during the spring and with online and on-site screenings from June 24 to July 4, 2021. Cinephiles and filmmakers met again, one and a half year later, in cinemas, the natural space for a Festival, in a state of anticipation, joy and emotion. During the ten days of the festival, 92 films were screened at nine open-air theaters and 142 films were screened online.

On Friday July 2nd, Hanka Kastelicová, documentary producer, HBO Europe – Czech Republic, delivered a presentation in the context of Agora Talks. She talked, among others, about HBO Europe co-productions and the kind of projects the company searches for.
