The 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival’s live open discussion took place on Thursday March 11, online. Presenter, actor, entrepreneur Fotis Sergoulopoulos (podcasts LIFO), director Lefteris Charitos (pod.gr) and journalist Daphne Karnezis (The Greek Podcast Project) revealed some of the secrets that make a podcast successfull. Head of programming Yorgos Krassakopoulos coordinated the discussion, while Festival director Orestis Andreadakis referred to the new podcast section of the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
The grant of 5,000 euros, an initiative by Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, is awarded to a documentary project participating in the Doc Station of Berlinale Talents and aims to support upcoming filmmakers, in whom Dimitri Eipides believed.

The 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival goes online and presents the best documentaries from all over the world, an exciting feature and the most thrilling documentaries for children and young people. In all, 50 documentaries will be presented from Thursday March 4 to Sunday March 14, 2021, through the Festival’s digital platform online.filmfestival.gr.
