Strange and mysterious creatures, monsters that live next to and within us, are featured in the big tribute of the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (October 31st to November 10th, 2024),  titled We, the Monster.

Agora invites documentary filmmakers to submit creative documentaries, documentary series, as well as documentaries for children in the Thessaloniki Pitching Forum and Agora Docs in Progress. Agora has, also, announced a new initiative, Agora XR Lab and submissions are now open.

The Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival (TIDF) is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest initiative, the AGORA XR Lab. This pioneering workshop, dedicated to supporting XR (Extended Reality) and new media projects in development, will take place from March 8-13, 2025.

The Thessaloniki Film Festival is intensifying its efforts for the greater extroversion of Greek cinema and the promotion of Greek filmmakers abroad. The Festival gives the opportunity to three film professionals from Greece who have participated in Thessaloniki Locarno Industry Academy, to travel to the Locarno Film Festival and participate in Locarno Pro. At the same time, the directors who participated in the Agora Short Film Lab of the 64th TIFF will take part in the Cinelink of the Sarajevo Film Festival, where they will present their work to film professionals from abroad.

The Thessaloniki Film Festival, after the successful completion of the 3rd Evia Film Project, a developmental environment-oriented program, and being aware of the critical state that the planet faces, continues to take initiatives in order to reduce its environmental impact and to raise awareness for the goals of sustainability.
