We have the pleasure to invite you to a special event titled «Food Uniting People # With Refugees» that will take place on Friday March 10, 2017, at 16:00, in front of the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum (Warehouse A, Thessaloniki Port). The event is organized by the UN Refugee Agency in collaboration with the 19th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
The participants-cooks are eight male refugees from the Volvi and Alexandria refugee camps located in Northern Greece. Four of them are Yazidis from Iraq and the rest are Arabs from Syria. They will present their traditional dishes: Tawa (vegetables), Quzi with Tikka (veal), Falafel and Kubeh (meatballs).
