Publication on the occasion of the tribute on the Mexican cinema with 16 emblematic films from 1948 to 2005 (including of course the masterpiece Los Olvidados by Buñuel), which capture the face of a multidimensional, as well as “colorful filmography” as Eleni Rammou states on the title of her introductory text. The publication, edited by Yianna Sarri, includes also an argumentative (as it calls itself) but exceptionally interesting essay by Carl Mora, and detailed biography of the directors included in the tribute.
