The deadline of the application window for the residency program "Berlin AiR: Thessaloniki-Berlin", organized by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, is extended to Friday, April 15th. Furthermore, Thessaloniki Film Festival, with a view to broadening the application window to a larger number of candidates, is modifying the terms and conditions for application eligibility, stipulated at the open call or application submission for the Residency program "Berlin AiR: Thessaloniki-Berlin", published on 4/2/2022.

In an emotionally charged ambiance, the awards of the 24th TDF were bestowed in the closing ceremony that took place on Sunday March 20th, at Olympion theater. The documentary A House Made of Splinters by Simon Lereng Wilmont was the recipient of the Golden Alexander Award, making the Danish director a two-time winner of TDF's grand award, following the Golden Alexander bestowed to The Distant Barking of Dogs in 2018.
