The main exhibition of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival, “The Rules of the Game”, following its successful course in Thessaloniki, is moving to Athens, at The Project Gallery (3, Normanou str., Monastiraki). The timeless masterpiece The Rules of the Game (1939) served as inspirational guide for the 62ndTIFF’s main exhibition, hosted in collaboration with MOMus – Experimental Center for the Arts, inviting ten young visual artists to create ten original works, drawing inspiration from Jean Renoir’s iconic movie.

Raúl Mora, editor of the super-hit TV series La casa de papel, gave a masterclass on collaborative editing in fiction, on Saturday 13 November, at Pavlos Zannas theater, as part of the tribute “In the Cut: Editing and its Secrets” hosted by the 62nd TIFF. In the opening of the event, he thanked Thessaloniki International Film Festival for the hospitality, explaining that the job of editor is not as recognized as it deserves.

The presentation "Together Apart: VR Cinema Experience" took place, within the framework of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival at Pavlos Zannas Theatre, on Friday November 12, unveiling a unique experience of interaction using virtual reality (VR) headsets. Viewers, in different locations wearing the special headsets, are transferred to a virtual cinematic environment, where they watch a cinema projection together as avatars. The film taking part in this special screening, held with the collaboration of Arx.net, was no other than the short film Afterimage by director Antonis Doussias
