 The members of the Mermaid Jury of the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival are Sofia Rozaki, visual artist; Gordon Spragg, PR and marketing consultant for independent cinema (WOLF consultants), and Yorgos Tsitiridis, journalist.

Suzana Perić’s masterclass titled “The Journey of Music in a Film” was held on Wednesday, November 5th, within the framework of the Thessaloniki Film Festival’s Meet the Future action. This year’s Meet the Future foregrounds the art of film scoring through the tribute “Music in Motion: The Art of Film Scoring”.

A special screening of Michael Premo’s film Homegrown took place on Tuesday, November 5th, at the Tonia Marketaki theater, on the day of the most crucial presidential election in the United States in the last decades. After the screening, a discussion followed featuring Nicolas Sevastakis, Professor at AUTh’s School of Political Sciences, the Festival’s Artistic Director, Orestis Andreadakis, and journalist-head of the Journalists' Union of Macedonia and Thrace Daily Newspapers, Yannis Kotsifos.

On Monday, November 4th, Greek composer Nikos Kypourgos delivered a masterclass titled: “Thoughts on Music in Cinema", within the framework of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival’s Meet the Future action. This year’s Meet the Future foregrounds the art of film scoring through the tribute “Music in Motion: The Art of Film Scoring”.

The Agora of the 65th Thessaloniki Film Festival bestowed its awards at a special event held on Wednesday, November 6th, at Warehouse C, attended by Victoria Hislop, this year's Agora ambassador. 

The members of the International Competition Jury are: Denis Côté, filmmaker; Sara Driver, filmmaker and producer; and Konstantinos Kontovrakis, producer.
