New deadline extension for the submission of podcasts for the 24th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival

We would like to inform you that the submission window for the Podcast section of the 24th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival is extended to Monday, January 31 2022, at 5pm, due to delays and problems generated by the adverse weather conditions afflicting many areas of Greece. 

The ten documentaries screened within the framework of the 24th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival’s main tribute map a fluid world and pave the way to a new reality that abolishes any certainty of the past.

Thessaloniki Film Festival offers the chance to both adults and children who love films to feel the Christmas magic of cinema by watching two movies that remind us of the true meaning of Christmas! The Bishop’s Wife (1947), one of the loveliest Christmas stories, featuring Cary Grant and David Niven, will raise the curtain on Tuesday 21/12 and Thursday 23/12.

Initiating a new collaboration that offers a substantial scholarship, the Podcast section of the 24^th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival is happy to invite podcasters from Greece and abroad to submit their works.

The main exhibition of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival, “The Rules of the Game”, following its successful course in Thessaloniki, is moving to Athens, at The Project Gallery (3, Normanou str., Monastiraki). The timeless masterpiece The Rules of the Game (1939) served as inspirational guide for the 62ndTIFF’s main exhibition, hosted in collaboration with MOMus – Experimental Center for the Arts, inviting ten young visual artists to create ten original works, drawing inspiration from Jean Renoir’s iconic movie.
